Robert Walter Henrichsen 73, of Elnora, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019.

Born December 6th, 1945 Terre Haute to Pauline Ruth (Jackson) Bays.

Bob was a Building's and grounds superintendent for the Indiana Railroad, working ongoing from 2006-2019. He also loved the restaurant business, opening two different restaurants in Bloomfield, IN and also managing the Cafeteria at Crane Naval Base. He loved serving top quality food to the public.

Bob's favorite things in life were family and church. He loved spending time with grandchildren, and especially his great-grandson Landon, doing chalk art work on the sidewalks, building Lego, and going to the park brought a smile to his face. Redemption Church in Loogootee, IN was his choice for serving and hearing God's word.

Surving relatives include: his wife Mary A. (Campbell) Henrichsen whom he married in October 12, 1968; two sons, Robert Scott Henrichsen of Elnora, and Walter Loren Henrichsen of Loogootee; one daughter Bobbie Sue Blevins (Henrichsen) of Odon; one sister Sue Miller (Bays), his grandchildren Lauren Henrichsen, Lane Henrichsen, Brittany Blevins, Bradley Blevins, Haley Blevins, one great grandson Landon Blevins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Bays.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday April 8, 2019 at Jenkins funeral home in Bloomfield IN with Richard Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove cemetery in Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held on Sunday April 7 from 4-8pm and 1 hour prior to service on Monday morning.
