Memorial Services for Bettye Ruth Sparrow, 82, of Mabank, Texas, are scheduled for 1:00 pm February 25, 2012 at Eubank Chapel with Rev. Kim Brunson officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

She passed away February 22, 2012 in Athens, TX.

Mrs. Sparrow was born July 30, 1929 in Kaufman, TX, to Orsby Lee and Glennie Esteen Sneed Brunson.

She was a member of the Eagles Lodge & React. She was a Christian by faith. Bettye loved to bowl, read and go camping. She fostered her great grandson, Stone.

Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Sparrow, daughter, Carol Owens, 2 Sisters, Thelma Cash & Sandra Turner.

Surviving are:
Son: Raymond & Sheree Sparrow of Las Vegas, NV.
Daughter: Sherri & Bryan Durbin of Lake Elsinore, CA.
