Brown, Earl Oscar, 69, 4833 Meredeth Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, died Tuesday, September 27, 1968. Born in Percival, Iowa to Oscar and Margaret (Abbott) Brown. He and Dorothy Holmes were married July 31, 1941 in Auburn, Nebraska. He had living in Peru and Nebraska City, Nebraska. He famed near Nebraska City for a short time and was retired from the Kingery Construction Company of Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Nebraska City and a former member of the Painters Union in Lincoln, Nebraska. He served in the Ari Force in WW11 and was stationed in England. Retired painting contractor, Kingery Construction Company. Former member Ponters Union, WW11 Air Force Veteran. Survivors, wife Dorothy Brown of LIncoln, Nebraska son Ronald E. Brown, Waverly, Nebraska, daughters Cathi Brown, Arlene Humons, both of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Neal of Nebraska City, Nebraska, sisters, Lucille Pierce, Bristol, Virginia, Mrs. George (Betty) Sandor, Sacramento, California, five grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and a son Donald and two sisters.
Services: 10 a.m., Thursday, Left Marshall Funeral Home, Nebraska City, Nebraska, Rev. Stan Schrag of Lincoln will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Brian Humann, Nathan Brown, Marck Gustafson, and Rich Janzen. Burial will be in the Thurman Iowa Cemetery, Thurman, Iowa. Lett-Marshall Funeral Home in Nebraska City will be in Charge of the arrangements. Memorial to American Lung Association.
