Frank Stevenson Jr., Died June 24, 2018, in Dallas, Texas, where he had moved recently. Formerly of West Lawn, Pa. Born June 6, 1923, in Philadelphia. Son of the late Elizabeth (Doerr) Stevenson and Frank Stevenson Sr.

Husband of Edwina (Brower) Stevenson, who died Dec. 28, 1998.

Graduate of Wilson High School (inducted into Wilson Hall of Fame 2012) and Penn State University.

Served in the U.S. Army during WWII, landing in Anzio, Italy, and later was involved in the liberation of the concentration camp at Dachau, Germany.

Teacher and administrator in mathematic for the Reading School District until retiring in 1987. Introduced the first calculus course at Reading High and aided in putting in the first computers in the district.

Survived by daughters, Ellen Francis, wife of Robert Francis (Lapeer, Mich.), Susan Stevenson and Dennis Murphy (Dallas, Texas); and son, Frank Stevenson III, husband of Cathy (Caldwell) Stevenson, (Greer, S.C.); along with 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by caring friend, Jim Russell.

Predeceased by brother, John W. Stevenson and sister, Elizabeth Ann Stevenson.

Internment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
