Cause of death: Concussion w/ compression of the brain - hit by a car while walking to board a trolley in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. He was employed by the Ingersoll-Rand Drill Company as a designer. The plant foreman is the person who hit him causing a fractured skull and broken hip among internal injuries. He had moved there just four months prior from Philadelphia. He left a widow, the former Katherine May Brooks. The couple had no children.
