Meade W. Graham, 82, was born Nov. 9, 1920 in Texarkana, Ark. He was born into eternal life April 29, 2003 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was married to Corinne (Cory) Graham, Nov. 9, 1971 in Oklahoma City. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the European Theatre. Before the ravages of Alzheimer's, Meade was an avid golfer, bowler and sports enthusiast. He loved dancing and music especially Frank Sinatra and the sounds of the Big Band Era. Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Cory Graham of 31yrs, his children, Jacki Carlson and her husband Richard of Edmond, Judy King and her husband Don of The Colony, TX, Griff Graham and his wife Lisa of Plano, TX, Rusty Rogers and his wife Christine of Arlington, TX and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On May 1st, 2012 Corinne (Cory) Graham passed away at her home in Edmond, OK from leukemia.

Cory, always the perfect, gracious lady was born on November 9, 1926 in Harmon, Oklahoma.

She was valedictorian of her class at Arnett High School and attended Oklahoma A & M College (OSU) until her marriage to Ferrill Rogers.

This marriage produced three children: Jacki, Judy and Rusty. During this time Cory was president of the Oklahoma County Bar Auxiliary and Geologist Wives as well as very active in all of her children's activities. As her children grew Cory was truly the quintessential "Kool-Aid mom." All her children's friends gathered at their home and Cory loved every minute of it.

In 1971 Cory married Meade W. Graham. They were married until his death in 2003. In 1974 Cory took over Denton's Fashion Center in downtown Edmond and managed it with her enviable style until she retired in 1996. Denton's had been founded in 1946 by her mother, Nellie Denton.

Cory was active in the Edmond Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Merchants' Association.

Cory was preceded in death by husband Meade Graham, son Rusty Rogers, mother Nellie Denton, father Herbert Bridwell and brother Herbert Bridwell Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacki Carllson and her husband Richard, Edmond, OK and Judy Rogers, The Colony, TX; four grandchildren, Chris Carllson and his wife, Christine, Edmond, OK; Jeff Blackburn, Dallas, TX; Cara Carllson Schmidt and her husband, Chad, Edmond, OK and Ryan Rogers, Austin, TX and his mother Debbie Rogers; also four great-grandchildren, Abby and Ben Carllson and Chloe and Cameron Schmidt. In addition Cory had two stepsons, Griff Graham, Plano, TX and Mike Graham. A special person for the last five years was Cory's caregiver Maria Samaniego. The family would like to thank Vonda and Terri from Absolute Senior Care and Carolyn, Shelli and Debbie from Centennial Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Edmond Fine Arts Center, P.O. Box 311, Edmond OK 73083 and Friends of Northwest Classen, http://northwestclassen.org/. Services will be held at Matthews Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012.
