"Mrs. Nancy E. Hixson, widow of William W. Hixson, died at the Sate Soldiers' home Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was 73 years old and entered the home a few months ago, coming from Terre Haute. The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be at the home cemetery."
