The brother of a Jefferson City woman died suddenly early Saturday morning at his home in Kansas City. Dead is Burd Catron, 71, who was born near Brumley, the son of Jacob S. and Henrietta Catron.

Survivors include: One son, Maj. Byron Catron, of Alexandria, Va., one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, of Tuscumbia; three sisters, Mrs. Virgil McCubbin of Jefferson City, Mrs. Mrs. Grace Richardson and Mrs. Fay Silisby, Kansas City; two brothers, Chester Catron, St. Louis, and Clint Catron, Wichita, Kan.; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Lin-Wayne Baptist Church in Kansas City. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Hawkins Cemetery at Brumley.

Circumstantial evidence for this is provided by the fact that she was born in 1919, and Burd and Beatrice did not marry until 1931. Since Dorothy married her husband Wilford Robinson in 1935, she could not legitimately be a child of this relationship.
