Patty L. Kindervater, 70, of Hopwood, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in UPMC, Shadyside.

She was born August 4, 1936, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Albert C. Beatty and Emma Jean Wilson Beatty.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Kindervater in 2002, a nephew, Ricky Turk, sister-in-law, Debra Turk, and mother-in-law, Margaret Kindervater.

Surviving are the following children: Peggy Jean McAtee of Waynesburg, Pa., Edward A. Kindervater and fiance, Kathy Zook of Connellsville, Pa., Lori Lynn Martin and her husband, Dave of Hopwood and Lisa L. Kindervater and Gary Hittie of Hopwood, Pa.; her sister, Linda Alt and her husband, Pete of Ocean View, Del.; two brothers: Gary Beatty and his wife, Susan of Cherryville, N.C., Ronald Beatty and his wife, Cindy of Hopwood, Pa.; sister and brother-in-law, Edward and Connie Craft of Alexandria, Va.; three grandchildren: Rachel McAtee, Mark McShane, Jr., and Kyra Kindervater; three stepgrandchildren: Jake, Dani and Rose; and two foster children that she loved and cherished for the past two years.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. Rebecca Hickok officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
