Services for Lessie Ayers Turner, 95, of Canton, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday December 15, 2009 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Harkins officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, TX.

She passed away December 13, 2009 in Canton, TX.

Mrs. Turner was born October 23, 1914 in China Grove Community, TX, to Elbert and Emma Morris Ayers.

She was a member of China Grove Baptist, for over 80 years where she was very active for many years as a Choir Member, Choir Director, Sunday School teacher and in the quilting group. She lived in Van Zandt County all of her life. She and her husband, Fletcher, farmed and ranched all of their life.

Surviving are Son, Maxie & Pam Turner of Canton, TX,
Grandson, Mark & Millicent Turner of Coppell, TX
2 Brothers, A.C. Corley of Rockwall, TX. & R.L. Corley of Terrell, TX,
Sister, Ann Woolley of Waco, TX.

Lessie was preceded in death by Father, Elbert Ayers, Mother and Step-Father, Emma and Luther Corley, Brother, "Blackie" Ayers, Brother, Clifton Partin, Husband, Fletcher Turner.

Pallbearers are Tim Meredith, Ricky Daniel, Larry Everitt, Foy Kirkland, B. W. Ward, Kenneth Yancey, Don Ayers & Tommy Ayers.

Family will receive friends Monday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
