"Mrs. Irene J. Ault

MUNCY - Mrs. Irene Janet Ault, 73, of 203 South Market Street, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1986, at Muncy Valley Hospital, where she was admitted after being stricken at home earlier in the day.

Her husband, Donald C. Ault, died in September 1956.

Born Feb. 19, 1913, at Strawberry Ridge, Montour County, she was a daughter of Clyde and Mary Murry [sic] Yocum.

She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and its women's organization. She also had been benevolence secretary at the church for many years.

Mrs. Ault was a member of the Ramblers Club and the Business and Professional Women's Club, and was a volunteer at Muncy Valley Hospital.

She retired in 1981 after 19 years with Commonwealth Bank and Trust Co., Muncy.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donna Engdl, of Lewisburg; three sisters, Mrs. Naomi Houseknecht, of Muncy RD 2, Mrs. Freda Miller, of Montgomery RD 1, and Mrs. Maxine Bair, of Mechanicsburg, and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, South Main Street, with the Rev. Dale Johnson, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at Wallis', 121 South Main Street, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The family will provide the flowers."
