DWIGHT M. WYATT

Dwight Mervin Wyatt, son of Fred C. and Ressa C. Wyatt, was born on a farm in Clarke county, Iowa, seven miles west of Derby, on March 24, 1904, and passed away at home on Sunday, April 5, 1964, at the age of 60 years and 12 days.

Dwight lived in the Derby area nearly all his life with the exception of a couple of years when the family lived in Indianola and of the years 1942-1946 when he worked in California.

Dwight never married and he is survived by both parents, two sisters, Mrs. Marie Krekow and Mrs. Elizabeth DeJarnett, a niece, Mrs. Mary Ellen Hanson, and a nephew, Edwin Krekow.

Dwight was a baptized member of Derby Methodist church. He had retired and had been living at home, helping to care for his parents in recent years.

Services were held Wednesday, April 8, at the Miley Chapel with the Rev. Donald Harding officiating. Interment was in the Derby cemetery.
