Harold Wright, of Nichols, died on Thursday night, Jan. 22 at the Binghamton City hospital, aged 13 years. His death was due from infection from an abscess. On Saturday, Jan. 17, he was removed to the hospital, where a surgical operation was performed. The funeral was held at the Sutfin funeral home Monday afternoon, the Rev. B.L. Lyon officiating, and burial was in the Nichols cemetery. He was a son of Alvin and Della (Wait) Wright and was born at Nichols. Besides his parents, he leaves one brother, John W. Wright (this is incorrect, his brother is John E. Wright - CC), a student at Cornell university; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wright and his grandmother, Mrs. Martha Wait, all of Nichols. He was a member of the Nichols M.E. church and an exceedingly bright student in the Nichols school.
