Madeleine Marie Woolverton
DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. GREGORY DALTON WOOLVERTON, HER MOTHER THE FORMER STEPHANIE MARIE RIEGEL OF NEW ORLEANS
Education: St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge, La., where she was president of the Historical and Geographical Society, co-captain of the Speech and Debate Team, and a member of the Latin Club, Senior Student Ministry, the National Honor Society, the Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta and the Beta Club. She also sang with the Liturgy Choir and was on the leadership team of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church High School Youth Group. While in high school she studied dance under Kris Cangelosi at Cangelosi Dance. An incoming junior at Tulane University, she is a sociology and dance double major with a minor in business, and a member of the Phi Mu Sorority, the Food Recovery Network, Catholic Relief Services, Habitat for Humanity and the Tulane Catholic Center, where she has participated in two weeklong Mission Honduras trips. This fall she will study abroad in Rome, Italy at John Cabot University.
Hobbies: Dancing, running, bike riding, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Has worked: As an intern at the Center for Planning Excellence and Top Box Foods, as an orientation counselor for Tulane University's EXPLORE program for incoming freshman, and as an intern for HOPE Ministries.
Plans to: Pursue a career that will allow her to use her creative abilities to work with and help people.
Presentations: Presented in the Bienville Club, the Founders of the City New Orleans and the Society of the War of 1812; as a demoiselle in the Spring Fiesta; and as a maid in Harlequins. She was honored at a luncheon at Galatoire's in June.
