"Margaret Josephine "Peg" (Woolverton) Wright was born June
1928 in Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado. She is
the only child of Monta Harold Woolverton and Elizabeth Jesse
(Dodson) Woolverton. She attended public schools in Grand
Junction. Graduating from high school in 1946 she then
attended and graduated from Mesa Junior College in Grand
Junction in 1948 with an A.A. degree. That year she entered
Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska, and in 1950 graduated
with a B.S. degree in Education.
While at Hastings College she met Jim Wright. Later they
were married at Grand Junction, Colorado, on 17 June 1951.
She taught school in Grand Junction one year. Then after
they were married, and relocated to Aurora, Colorado, she
taught in Aurora for 11 years. She and Jim moved to San
Jose, California in 1966, where Jim was employed by Lockheed
and Peg enjoys keeping busy with church activities, clubs,
and painting lessons. Jim retired in 1990, and now they
enjoy getting out in their motor home and seeing some of the
country once in awhile in addition to the above activities .
Her husband, Jim, is the family genealogist."
