"William C. Alpaugh, Jr.

William C. Alpaugh Jr., 78, of Brandford Court, Bethlehem Township, died Thursday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Doris (Coates) Alpaugh. They were married 55 years in October.

A 1936 graduate of Churchman Business College, Easton, he was secretary and treasurer of Victor Balata Belting Co., Wilson, for 44 years before retiring in 1981.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late William C. and Opan (Britton) Alpaugh.

He was a member, former elder and trustee of Olivet United Presbyterian Church, Easton, and a member of its Men's Club.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Wife; son, William C. III of Bethlehem; daughter C. Jane Cosover of Palmer Township, and six grandchildren.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday in the church . Call 12:30-1 p.m. Monday in church. Arrangements, Strunk Funeral Home, Wilson."
