Marvin was the son of Lester Perkins and Mary Sparks. He married Evelyn Allen on March 5, 1950. Marvin was a graduate of Ashboro High School in Clay County, Indiana. He was a Veteran of Korean War. Marvin had worked and retired from Brazil Water Works. He loved Studebakers. Evelyn and Marvin loved Flea Markets.
