== Biography ==
John Wolberton is found in Bolton, Tolland Co., CT, in the 1800 census. His son Joseph is found in Kennebec Co., ME, with his name mostly spelled Wolberton, but on his marriage record, he is called Wolverton. I believe that John Wolberton is a son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Crowell). They did not name any other known son John, the name of Thomas's brother, and Joseph is the name of Elizabeth's putative father, Joseph Crowell.
