David Robert Wilson, 61,of Connellsville passed away unexpectedly Thursday. June 5, 2014 at his home. He was born Feb. 1, 1953 in Uniontown a son of Verlaine Thomas Wilson of Connellsville and the late Lloyd R. Wilson who passed away April 25, 2014. Dave was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School with the class of 1971. He also attended Penn State University, Fayette Campus where he studied mechanical engineering. Dave was a member of the Connellsville Presbyterian Church. He like to shoot pool and visit with his friends and family. In addition to his mother Dave is survived by his sisters Diane (William) Hillen of Vanderbilt and Judy Ambuehl (David Speshock) of Monarch, his brother Jeffrey Wilson of Olympia, WA., several loving nieces and nephews, and his loving pet dog, Mia.

Family and friends will be received from 2-9 PM Sun. in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc. 111 E. Green St. Connellsville (724-628-1430) where a funeral service will be held Mon. at 11:00 AM , with Rev. Suzanne Zampella officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Fayette SPCA, 215 Rankin Airshaft Rd., Uniontown, PA. 15401, in memory of David R.
