Shortsville Enterprise, June 1, 1962:

Stuart M. Wolverton, 71, lifelong Canandaigua resident, died unexpectedly Wednesday. May 23, at his home on the West Lake Road.
He was born Sept. 19, 1890, the son of Edson and Ella Munson Wolverton. The family has lived on the West Lake Road since 1857. In 1915 he married the former Julia R. Willson. He had been employed as a salesman in the Canandaigua area and in recent years had been a landscape gardener. He was a member of the First Congregational Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Felix Meinikheim of Lahore, Pakistan, and Mrs. William S. Shoemaker of Bushnell's Basin; four grandchildren, and two sisters. Misses Hazel M. and Mabel E. Wolverton, West Lake Road, Canandaigua.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Kennedy and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard Bowen, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.
Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
