MRS. CLARENCE D. ASLING

ABILENE -- The funeral for Mrs. S. Elizabeth Asling, 87, Abilene, will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Abilene, the Rev. Larry Siebrands officiating.

Mrs. Asling, a longtime Abilene resident, died Saturday at Abilene Memorial hospital. She was born April 21, 1887, in the Acme community south of Abilene and was a member of the 1909 graduating class of Abilene high school. She was the widow of Clarence D. Asling, who died in 1970. She was a member of the Trinity church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Surviving are a son, Dr. C. Willet, San Francisco; 2 daughters, Mrs. James W. Beattie, Lake Geneva, Wisc., and Mrs. John Perkowski, Woodland Hills, Calif., 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Abilene cemetery. The Martin funeral home is in charge. The family suggests memorials to the Abilene hospital.
