"Mr. and Mrs. Archie White mourn the loss of their little son Clifford who passed away Sunday morning at about 10 o'clockm after a brief illness. The funeral was conducted by Rev. T. J. Elwick in the M. E. church Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Loving hands did what they could for this little sufferer but the Lord took him to be with Him. The church was beautifully decorated with many cut flowers and a floral arch was very prettily arranged by those who had the decorating in charge. The remains of the little one were laid to rest in the Stanley cemetery. The many friends of the family sympathize deeply with this bereaved family, and may the God of Peace be with them."
