He is listed in the 1860 census incorrectly
under the surname of Vanham in Millington
with post office of Watrousville.
It says he is 29 years, born in Canada.
With him is his wife Electa Ann, age 16,
born NY and two young children.
(Surname may also be spelled Van Horn.)

Jeremiah's death year is estimated as
1868 since his wife remarried the next year.

Electa Ann (Jan. 30, 1834-Sept. 23, 1900)
was a daughter of Amos Wolverton and Mary
A. Grant and was born in Ontario, Wayne
County, NY.
(NOTE:- year of death on tombstone of 1899
is incorrect; DC clearly says 1900, also
she is alive and with husband on 1900 census
for Millington, Tuscola County; birth year
may also be out by a year)

On Nov. 7, 1869 in Millington, Tuscola County,
she married William Harrison Glynn (Aug. 6,
1841-July 17, 1905) native of NY, s/o Dudley
Glynn and Ruth Bowdish.

The children of Jeremiah Van Horn and
Electa Ann Wolverton are:
(1) Ida E. VanHorn (1858-1935) who married
first George Newberry in Tuscola County, and
second James W. Mudge in Genesee County;
(2) Elizabeth A. "Libbie" VanHorn (1859-
July 13, 1881) married William F. Perkins
in Tuscola County, Oct. 17, 1880;
(3) Willis L. VanHorn (Jan. 23, 1861-
July 18, 1933) married Fannie Frahm (Jan.23,
1869-Apr. 13, 1950) native of MI and d/o
Charles & Sophia Frahm, native of Germany;
(4) Jennie Eliza VanHorn (1863-bef.1900)
married Wesley F. Burdick in Tuscola on
Dec. 26, 1886.

The death year on the tombstone is wrong!
Proof of 1900 is from the death certificate
and she also appeared on the 1900 spring
census with her husband. It is also believed
her birth year was 1834, not 1835

Daughter of Amos Wolverton and Mary A.
Grant.

She married, first, Jeremiah VanHorn
(ca1831-ca1868) about 1855/6. They
raised four children in Millington Twp.
(See memorial for Jeremiah for details
on these children.)

On Nov. 7, 1869 in Tuscola County, she
married William Harrison Glynn (Aug. 6,
1841-July 17, 1905). He was a son of
Dudley Glynn (b. 1812 in VT, d. July 29,
1872 in Millington) and Ruth Bowdish.

says she was born on Dec. 30,1833 with age
at death as 66 y., 8 m. and 23 d., so
obviously this information is not totally
