Candy, her nick name, was the oldest daughter of Benjamin Amina and Verna Lee (Wolverton) Albino. She was raise mostly in California and Reno, Nevada, but as she got older she moved to Hawaii with her mother.
Candy married Clayton Koleo Ching in 1970 they were the parents of Verna Leimomilani, Cindy Ohukulani, and Rachael Mopua.
After divorcing Clayton she married George English and they both worked at a recycling plant in Hawaii.
