Died Saturday at Creasy Springs, Lafayette.

Son of Theodore and Lorena Jeffers.
Married Betty L. Ainsworth June 9, 1957 in Vigo County. She survives.
Also surviving are daughter Carolyn (Mike) Wicker; sons Gary (Beth) and Don (Angie) Jeffers; grandchildren Jaret (Pam) Wicker, Quinn (Mike) Wilds, Andrew and Benjamin Jeffers; great-granddaughter Hope; sisters Marjorie Tanner and Jean Zurcher; brother Kenneth Jeffers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ted, Robert and Jack.

Graduate of Glenn High School in Vigo County.

He bought a farm and enjoyed raising feeder pigs, grain and loved to dairy. Even following his retirement, he could be seen ‘road farming’…keeping an eye on the community farmers as he drove. He especially enjoyed watching the Amish as they farmed

He had been active on the 4-H Inc. Board, Indiana Farm Bureau and had helped at the Indiana State Fair.

Service 2pm Sunday October 15 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Mel Vance officiating.
Visitation noon until time of service.

Memorial donations to American Diabetes Association.
