OBITUARY

ROY E. TRUEBLOOD

CORY - Roy E. Trueblood, 77, of Route 11 died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in his residence following a six-year illness. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.

He was born Jan. 2, 1911, in Vigo County to Joseph P. Trueblood and Charity Ellen Trueblood.

Survivors include his wife, Imogene R. Trueblood; one son, Ronald L. of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Prairie Creek Church of Christ and attended the Church of Christ in Clay City.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rentschler-Slack Funeral Home, Center Point, with Herb Woollard officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, east of Riley. Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and before services Tuesday.

Imogene Ruby Trueblood

CORY - Imogene Ruby Trueblood, 82, of Cory died at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, in Southwood Health Care Center.

She was born Sept. 9, 1917, in Clay County to Elmer Stoneburner and Susie Culler Stoneburner.

Her husband, Roy Trueblood, died in 1987.

Survivors include one son, Ronald L. Trueblood and his wife Cindy of Terre Haute, one sister-in-law, Kathleen Stoneburner of Scottsburg; one special cousin, Rosalie Whitlock of Terre Haute; two nieces, Pat McNeely of Sullivan and Sharon Chastain of Scottsburg; one nephew, the Rev. Wendell Stoneburner of Jefferson City, Mo.; and several other cousins.

She was a member of Clay City Church of Christ.

Services are 11 a.m. Monday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with Scott Wiley officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
