A son of Dr. Edward F. znd Maude Steenrod Shaulis, he was born Sept. 10, 1904, in Indiana. He was a practicing physician and surgeon in Indiana for the past 36 years. Dr. Shaulis graduated from the University of Pittsburgh; the School of Medicine, Temple University, Philadelphia; serving his internship at Pittsburgh Medical Center, and studied at Hahnemann Medical College, Pittsburgh. Dr. Shaulis was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Indiana; the American Medical Society; Pennsylvania Medical Society; Indiana County Medical Society; Pennsylvania Academy of General Practice; New York Academy of Sciences; Indiana Masonic Lodge 313, William S. Daugherty Royal Arch Chapter 313; the Couderspcrt Consistory. Surviving are a son, Frederick, of Somerset, and one grandchild.
