Donald P. Wolverton, "Don, 80, of Merritt Island, FL passed on Jan. 19, 2016. Born Jan. 30, 1935 in NKC, MO to Fred and Mary Wolverton. On April 10, 1953 he married Marcella “Cella” Roberts. Don was a mechanic for TWA retiring after 29 years. He enjoyed camping and cruise vacations with his wife and family. Don was a member of Winnwood Baptist Church. Don was preceded in death by death his parents; his son, Douglas Wolverton; his brother, Richard “Dick” Wolverton; and a grandson, Matthew Wolverton. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Cella; his daughters, Cynthia North, Linda Wolverton-Williams, and Gayla Passmore; a brother, Steve Wolverton; and a sister, Marilyn Lowe; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 2 PM, Saturday March 19, 2016 at Winnwood Baptist Church, 4513 N Jackson Ave. KC, MO 64117. The visitation will be at 1 PM Saturday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial are suggested to Vitas Hospice, 4450 W Eagallie Blvd Suite 250 Melboume FL 32934."
