Leon Orr, 94, of Danville, passed away at 9:25 A.M. Friday July 31, 2015, at North Logan Health Care Center in Danville.

He was born on Aug. 19, 1920 in Kingman, Indiana, the son of Harry and Dwight (Gillogly) Orr. He married Marjorie Ann Van Syoc on March 4, 1951 at the Sidell Christian Church. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by one daughter, Carol Ann Orr; one brother, Curtis Orr; two sisters-in-law, June Orr and Ardith Orr; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by parents; one son, Jerry Lee Orr; three brothers, Eugene Orr, Harold Orr and Fey Orr and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Orr and Donna Orr.

Leon worked as a supervisor at Robintech for many years until his retirement.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946 and was a World War II veteran.
