"Muncy - Milton R. Opp, 90, of Turbotville RD 1, formerly of Muncy, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 1986, at his home.

Born in Moreland Twp., Sept. 9, 1895, he was a son of John P. and Babara Lockard Opp.

Mr. Opp retired as a farmer in 1949 and had been Moreland Twp. tax assessor for many years.

His wife, the former Edna Smith, died in 1959.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Martha Fenstermacher, of Muncy RD 1.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Welsh-Betzer's, 108 North Main Street, with the Rev. D. Gene Patterson, pastor of Muncy Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday."
