Preceded in death by his wife Lillian W. Opp; granddaughter Terry Opp; brother Stanley; sisters Jeanette and Janice.

Survived by sons James C. (Marilyn), William H., John P., and Stuart (Pamela); grandchildren Deborah Staedt, Rebecca, Gerald, William H., John P., [and Stuart (Pamela); grandchildren Deborah Staedt, Rebecca, Gerald, William (bracketed text repeated in original)] and Amy Opp; great-grandchildren Riley and Sydney Staedt; and many nieces and nephews.

Born Sept. 18, 1916 in Sunbury, PA. Claire was a WWII Army Veteran. He served with 4th Infantry Div, the Invasion of Normandy and European Theater.

He will be greatly missed. Memorials preferred to donor's choice or the Greene Fire Dept. Private service at a later date in PA. HONSA FAMILY 651-429-6172.
