Caroline Rodessa Opp, 74, of 1431 Oakes Ave., Loyalsock Twp., died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Valley View Nursing Center.

Born June 20, 1928, the daughter of Phillip and Hazel Opp, she lived most of her life in the Muncy area.

She was a member of the Northway Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed sewing, garage sales, visiting all her friends and she loved doing for her nephews, nieces and friends.

Surviving are two sisters, Finley (Clair) Stahl and Irene (Wilbur) Baskin, both of Muncy; three nieces; three nephews and a sister-in-law, Nancy McCarty.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Edward L. McCarty; and a nephew, Robert Tobias.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Northway Presbyterian Church, 1520 Northway Road, Williamsport, with her pastor, the Rev. Christine Woods-Henderson, officiating.

Burial will be in the Muncy Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville.
