Aldwin Eugene Morris, 84, Washington, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Washington.
Mr. Morris, the son of Herschel T. Morris and his wife Florence, nee Smith, was born July 23, 1918, at Decatur, Ill.
Mr. Morris received his education at Decatur High School at Decatur, Ill. He graduated from the University of Illinois.
On June 6, 1943, he was united in marriage to Norma Morenz at Decatur, Ill.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington.
Mr. Morris was employed at the COOP CFD grain market and later as an insurance broker for the Constitutional Insurance Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Alpha Morris, Adrian Morris, Arlie Morris and Arthur Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Morris, Washington; one son, David Morris and wife Pam Curran, Pontiac, Mich.; one daughter, Ruth Ann Brown and husband Victor, Augusta; one sister-in-law, Lora Tomamichel, Lombard, Ill.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington, with Rev. Mark Bangert and Rev. Joel Schulz officiating. Interment was in Presbyterian Cemetery, Washington.

She was united in marriage to A. Eugene Morris on June 6, 1943, in Decatur Ill.

Mrs. Morris was a retired elementary schoolteacher.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by one son, David Morris and wife Pam Curran, Pontiac, Mich.; one daughter, Ruth Ann Brown and husband Victor, Augusta; six grandchildren, Ben Curran and wife Cassie Sweetnich, Katie Drabicki and husband Brian, Ann-Renee Gargrave and husband Eric, Joel Brown and wife Jennifer, Aaron Brown and wife Melissa and Rebekah Brown; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 10, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington, with the Rev. Joel Schultz officiating.

Internment was held in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Washington.
