David W. Miller, 85, formerly of Lyters Lane, Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Central Dauphin School District and a 30 year Veteran of Service in the United States Army. He was a member and Past Commander of the VFW Post 1213 Rutherford and a member of the Rutherford AMVETS. He was an Army Veteran of both World War II and Korea, where he received a Purple Heart. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews and their children. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., in the Dailey Funeral Home, 650 S. 28th Street, Penbrook. Burial with full military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Broughton's Personal Care Home, 2420 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
