Virginia L. McKinley, 75, of Versailles died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. She was born July 22, 1934 in Brumley to Fred and Cornelia Olive Thompson Robinett. On July 26, 1955, she was married to Jerold R. McKinley, who died April 19, 2000.

Mrs. McKinley retired as a secretary at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Versailles United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Gronstedt and husband Richard of Versailles; two granddaughters, Tricia Hager and husband Chris of Lee's Summit and Gini McNeive of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Robinett.

Visitation will be held from 12:20 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Funeral services will immediately follow. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens at Barnett.
