Arthur John Joseph Wolverton of Leasburg, Missouri was born on
December 17, 1950 to Harper Leo and Emma Elizabeth (Latterman)
Wolverton in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Monday,
January 9, 2017 at the age of 66 years.
He honorably served his country in the United States Navy.
Arthur was blessed with three children: Candy, Joe and Michelle
and he raised them as a single parent.
Art was a machinist by trade for 30 years. He took a job at Meramec
State Park in Sullivan, Missouri in 2005 and transitioned to
retirement in 2015.
He made his home in Leasburg, Missouri for the past several years
where he enjoyed working with his hands in constructing homes to
build up "Arts Paradise."
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harper and Emma Wolverton.
He is survived by his children, Candy (Dave) Kamler of Arnold,
Missouri, Joe (Angela) Wolverton of Florissant, Missouri and
Michelle (Larry) White of Groveport, Ohio; one sister, Sharon
Anthes of Macon, Missouri; grandchildren, Jenn Kamler, Ashley,
Tom and Steve Wolverton, Kortney, Katy, Gabby and Lanie White;
nieces, Brandy Wibberg and Ginger Anthes of Macon, Missouri;
special friend, Bonnie Woemmel of New Haven, Missouri; other
relatives and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home."
