"Mrs. Geraldine McCarty

MUNCY - Mrs. Geraldine McCarty, 75, of 315 South Market Street, died at 9:05 a.m. Friday, Aug, 17, 1984, in Divine Providence Hospital, where she had been admitted July 21. Her husband, Clyde A. McCarty, dide in May 1970.

Born Sept. 26, 1908, at Catawissa, she was a daughter of Hilbert and Edith Miller Sidler.

Surviving are three brothers, Robert and Jack Sidler, both of Pottsville, and James Sidler, of Schuylkill Haven, and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Diehl and Mrs. Corlyss Tipler, both of St. Clair, Mrs. Nedra Homa, of Minersville, and Mrs. Mary Jean Bergen, of Pottsville RD 2.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallis', 121 South Main Street, with the Rev. D. Gene Patterson, pastor of the Muncy Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday."
