George W. Stedman

ALBANY, Nov. 23 (AP) -- George W. Stedman, lawyer, banker and former Assembyman, died today in albany Hospital at the age of 90.

Mr. Stedman, who was graduated from Albany Law School in 1887, had continued practice until two years ago. He was a specialist in estate and corporation law and had been a director of several banks.

A Republican, he served in the Assembly in 1898. He received bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Rochester.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Harriet Mather Stedman, and a son, George Jr., a partner in the Stedman law firm.
