CEDAR FALLS — Helen B. Marshall, 83, of the Cedar Falls Health Care Center, formerly of 118 W. Seventh St., died Saturday, Oct. 28, at the center of natural causes.
She was born Feb. 10, 1912, in Mediapolis, daughter of Chalmer B. and Rosa A. Wolverton Watson. She married Roy J. Marshall on July 26, 1930, in Mount Pleasant. He died Oct. 17, 1992. She was a bookkeeper with Moore Produce Co., retiring in 1968.
Survived by: a daughter, Betty L. Fortune of Waterloo; two grandsons and three great-grandsons; a sister, Leila Perrenoud of Newton; and a brother, Roy Watson of Morning Sun.
Preceded in death by: a brother, John.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., and for an hour before services Tuesday.
Memorials: may be directed to Sartori Skilled Nursing or the Cedar Falls Health Care Tree Project.
