Biography

Samuel "was educated in the old Trenton Academy. About the year 1870 he established a drug store at Montgomery and Perry street, Trenton, New Jersey, which business he conducted about two years, and there followed the practice of his professin, dentistry, ( which he studied under the preceptorship of Sr. Isaiah Lukens, of Philadelphia, who later became his father-in-law ) which was established in 1868, and was very successful in this direction"[1]

The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the residence of her son, John E Woolverton, No 124 West State Street, on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery at convenience of the family.

Susanna "a graduate of the Women's Medical College of Philadelphia, the first women's medical college, in which institution her father, Dr. Isaiah Lukens, was at one time one of the professors"[1]
