Obituary
Carl Robert Lose, age 60, of Canal Fulton, passed away March 17, 2003. A life-long resident of the Akron-Canton area, he was a 1960 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Following graduation he enlisted in the US Navy, was stationed in San Diego, and achieved a rank of E-5 and was honorably discharged. He was married to Elizabeth Sheldon in 1962. He was employed by National Cash Register as a computer technician for nearly thirty years. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his accomplished piano playing, his wide-ranging knowledge, his love of music, history, astronomy, boating and all sorts of vehicles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy (McLain) Lose. He is survived by his daughter and son Amie Lose and Mark Lose, both of Canton; his sister Marlene Hiller, Golden, CO, two aunts, Ruth Morris of Lakemore, OH and Phylas Lose of Lenexa, KS; and his former wife Elizabeth Sheldon-Patterson. A Memorial service will be held Friday at 8:00p.m in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Hank Roso officiating. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6:00p.m. until the time of the service at 8:00p.m."
