Mr. Littley was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Woodbury over 80 years.

He was a past-president and member of Goodwill Fire Co. #2 for over 60 years. Les was also a former deputy chief of the Woodbury Fire Dept. and a N.J. Exempt Fireman. Lester was a former member of the church council and advisor for Luther League of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Woodbury.

Mr. Littley was a 56-year member of IBEW Local #439 Electrical Workers, where he served as a vice-president, member of the executive board, and chairman of the Apprenticeship Training Committee. He enjoyed big band music, gardening, and his family and friends.

Eleanor A. Littley (nee Quigley), 86, of Woodbury, NJ, died May 31, at Kennedy Healthcare, Washington Twp., NJ.

Eleanor was born in Camden and resided in Westmont before moving to Woodbury 62 years ago. She was a member of the Woodbury Women's Club, the Walnut Street School PTA, WELCA and Altar Guild of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church of Woodbury and was a graduate of Collingswood High School in 1940 where she played saxophone in the marching band. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Lester in 2006. She is survived by her son, Joseph L. (Debby) Littley of Cedar Brook, NJ; daughter, Ginny L. (Richard) Greene of Newark, DE; 4 grandchildren Tracy (Dan) Rossettini, Amy (Nick) Schwander, Laura Ferguson and Andrew Littley; and 2 great grandchildren Fergus and Anya Schwander.

Funeral service 11 am Tuesday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 230 N. Evergreen Ave. Woodbury, NJ 08096, where friends may call after 9:30 am. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations to St. Stephen's Church would be appreciated.

Arrangements under the direction of the DAVIS & WAGNER Funeral & Cremation Services, 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ 08096.
