Joseph F. Lippert
Loving husband, father and grandfather
CUBA – Joseph F. Lippert, formerly of Ford Miles Road, Cuba, died Friday (Aug. 25, 2006) in the Wellsville Manor Care Center, Wellsville, after a short illness.
Born Dec. 14, 1922, in Olean, he was a son of the late Joseph and Ally Youngs Lippert. On Nov. 24, 1984, in Olean, he married the former Margaret A. Clark, who survives.
Mr. Lippert worked in construction and the oil fields, and later for Cooper Industries, retiring in April, 1984.
He attended Ischua Union Church. Mr. Lippert was a life member of the Portville Conservation Club, the NRA, NAHC of America and St. Stephen’s Club of Olean. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and his two little dogs.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Sandy Wiemer of Duncan, Okla.; four sons, Clifford (Yvonne Button) Lippert of Limestone, Michael (Kathy Baire) Lippert of Limestone, Donald (Kim) Lippert of Olean and Brandon (Valerie) Lippert of Bolivar; five stepchildren,Mary Lou (Randy) Marsden of Scio, James P. (Karen) Boysha Jr. of Hinsdale, Richard A. Boysha Sr. of Hinsdale, Jeannette (Kenneth) DeFiore of Hilton, N.Y., and Leon (Penny) Boysha of Hinsdale; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon L. Anastasia in 2005; and two sisters, Ruth Burdick and Dorothy Brennan.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. at the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean, where funeral and committal services will be held Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2006) at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Carl Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery, Maplehurst.
Memorials may be made to Ischua Union Church.

OLEAN – Patricia A. Cornelius of 1297 Olean-Portville Road passed away at her home following a long illness.
Born April 15, 1934, in Olean, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Esther Salter Perrington.
Patricia was employed at AVX Corp. for more than 43 years until retirement. She was a supervisor in the plating room and was a union steward for AVX for many years.
She was an avid sports fan, did volunteer work at Olean General Hospital, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Olean VFW, and attended Trinity Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Clifford W. (Yvonne Button) Lippert, Michael (Kathy Layton) Lippert, both of Limestone, and Donald (Kim) of Weston's Mills; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Perrington and a step-daughter, Sharon Anastasia.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday (June 2, 2010) at the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Mount View Cemetery, Olean.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ball was the scene Saturday, Dec. 14, 1968 of the marriage of her niece Patricia Perrington Lippert of Olean to Donald Cornelius of New York City.
The Rev. Harvey O. Taylor performed the double ring ceremony at 3 p.m. in the presence of thirty four friends and relatives. Wedding bells, Christmas bells and lighted tapers adorned the home for the occasion.
The couple was attended by Mrs. Ruth Langfitt of Duke Center, sister of the bridegroom and Jim Osterstuck of Portville.
The bride wore a winter white suit with a corsage of white rose buds, while Mrs. Langfitt chose a suit of turquoise with a corsage of yellow rose buds. The mother of the bride wore a pink wool suit and a corsage of yellow rose buds.
A buffet reception in the Ball home honored the couple. Ten guests were seated at the brides table which was centered with a wedding cake flanked by white tapers.
For a short wedding trip to Buffalo, the bride chose a gray tweed suit with black accessories for travel. The bride is employed at Aerovox Corp. Olean while her husband is superintendent of Spencer, White and Prentice in New York City.
The couple will reside on the Olean-Portville Road.
