Topeka State Journal Sun. 9 May, 1971, pg 31:
Mrs. Frances Evelyn Lentz, 72, Topeka, died Sat. in a Topeka hospital. She had cancer.
She was born April 19, 1899 at Holton. She lived at Osage City and later at Mesa, AZ. She lived in Topeka for five months.
Mrs Lentz was a registered nurse, having been graduated from the Cook Co. Hospital School of Nursing at Chicago.
She was a member of the board of directors of Sunshine Acres, a children's home at Mesa, AZ.
Her husband, T. Clyde Lentz, died in November, 1964.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Wiliam R.Lentz, Topeka, ; two daughters, Mrs. Charlene Linneman, Denver, CO., and Mrs. Carolyn Shaw, Garden Grove, CA., a brother, Ernest Rafter, Topeka,; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kaul, Holton, and Mrs. Cora Fetrow, Germantown, MD.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be Wed.at Mercer Funeral Home at Holton with burial in Holton Cemetery.
