Sylvia Garnet Larson, John B. Unterweger Wed in Church Service
The loft light of many tapers shone upon the green palms and bouquets .of gladioli; and white peonies that banked the altar in Christ Presbyterian church, Saturday afternoon for the wedding of Miss Sylvia Garnet Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Larson, 1710 Van Hise ave., and John Barney Unterweger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Unterweger, Milwaukee.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full skirted gown of white silk voile, fashioned with a square lace neckline and long sleeves that were puffed at the shoulders and extended in points over her hands. Her long-veil of silk fell from a tiara of white roses and lilies-of-the-valley. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies-of-the-valley.
Maid of honor, Miss Lillian Liebetrau of Madison, wore a tiara of Talisman roses and larkspur and carried an arm bouquet of the same flowers. The bridesmaids, Miss Gertrude Larson, sister of the bride, Miss Virginia Smith, sorority sister of the bride, and Miss Irene Skorstad of Blair, Wis.
Albert Unteneger of Milwaukee was best man for his brother, and the ushers were James H. Barnwell of Madison, brother-in-law of the bride, Ernest Wallner of Milwaukee, cousin of the bridegroom, and Chester Zimmerman of Milwaukee.
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Larson wore a white crepe dress with white accessories. Mrs. Unterweger, mother of the bridegroom, wore a white and blue sheer gown with white accessories. Mrs. John Knudsen of Madison, grandmother of the, bride an afternoon dress of white crepe.
Fallowing the ceremony, a reception for 250 guests was held in the church, parlors. Miss Eleanor Knudsen of Milwaukee, an aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Lloyd Tollefson of Park Ridge, Ill., a cousin of the bride, poured. Mrs. Bamwell, sister of the bride, and Miss Eleanor Unterweger, sister, .of the bridegroom, assisted.

Christ Presbyterian church will be the scene Saturday at 4 p. m. of the wedding of Miss Sylvia G. Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Larson, 1710 Van Hise Ave., and John Barney Unterweger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Unterweger of Milwaukee.
Miss Larson has asked Miss Lillian Liebetrau to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids will include her sister, Miss Gertrude Larson, Miss Virginia Smith, and Miss Irene Skorstad, the latter of Blair, Wis.
Albert Unterweger will be his brother's best man. Ushers will be Ernest Wallner, cousin of the bridegroom, Chester Zimmerman, and James Barnwell.
