Per SS application: Daughter of Alexander Kenneth Ross and Georgeanna (McIntyre) Ross.

Ruth R. Larimore, of Springfield, passed away October 2, 2006, in the Manor at Elfindale. She was born in New Canton, IL, the youngest of six children born to Kenneth and Georgeanna 'Anna' (McIntyre) Ross.
Ruth graduated from high school in New Canton and had resided in Springfield since 1939.
She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
She was a member of the Sorosis Club, LaSertoma Club, and Boy's and Girl's Clubs Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Larimore, O.D., who died September 6, 2001.
Ruth is survived by two sons and their wives, Larry and Tammy Larimore of Republic, MO; and David R. and Beverly Larimore of Atlanta, GA; a daughter and her husband, Cynthia and Dr. Bob Bennett of Springfield, MO; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Manor at Elfindale for the loving and professional care she received.
Graveside services will be October 4, 2006, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Constance F. Tyndall officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
