Death of J. A. Reed

The sad news of the death of J. A. Reed at Seneca was received in the city yesterday by relatives. Mr. Reed was taken sick about five days ago with pneumonia which caused his death.

He was formerly the store keeper and postmaster at Abbott and six years ago he left for Seneca where he was running a store and held the position of postmaster. Besides his wife there are two sons and other relatives left to mourn his loss. The remains will be brought to this city tomorrow morning and at 2 o'clock in the afternoon the funeral will be held here under the auspices of the Masons.

The funeral of J. A. reed of Seneca occurred this afternoon from the residence of j. b. Lesher on West Second Street. The Masons had full charge of the same.
