According to the Philadelphia Inquirer of May 26, 1902, the remains of George and children were reinterred in the Summit Lawn Section of Harleigh. A previous obituary had George buried in Camden Cemetery. Stone is actually in the Marble Section.

George L. Swyler committed suicide and descriptive details can be found in the Jan 6, 1884 Philadelphia Times. Discouragement caused by business reverses and sickness attributed to his decision to end his life.
