Richard Wayne Jeffers, 63, of Terre Haute, passed away at 10:13 p.m. Monday, Feb.1, 2016, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on May 21, 1952, to Theodore Jeffers Jr. and Helen Withem Jeffers.
Richard was a volunteer fireman for he Farmersburg Volunteer Fire Department for 18 plus years, was president of the Woodgate Home Owners Association, was the long-time treasurer and developer of the Farmersburg Friends of the Park, and also was an Eagle Scout.
