Harold died at the Muncy Valley Hospital SNU, late afternoon, the same day as his brother Gabriel Lee Jacobs (1914-2002) who died early morning at the SNU.

He served honorably in US Army during World War II.

Harold was survived by his oldest son, Harold Leroy Jacobs, Jr. (1947-2011) of Millville RD (Pine Summit), PA.

Dorothy was survived by her spouse, Harold Leroy "Sarge" Jacobs (1918 - 2002) of Muncy, PA, and oldest son, Harold Leroy Jacobs, Jr. (1947-2011) of Millville RD (Pine Summit), PA.

"Mrs. Harold L. Jacobs
MUNCY - Mrs. Dorothy E. Jacobs, 69, wife of Harold L. Jacobs, of Muncy RD 5, died today, Friday, March 23, 1990, in Divine Providence Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born Feb. 8, 1921, in Muncy, she was a daughter of Elmer R. and Pearl Hurst Opp.

Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Harold L. Jr., of Muncy, and David E., of Watsontown; a brother, John Opp, of Picture Rocks; and three sisters, Ethel Jcobs, of Williamsport, Martha Crankovitch, of Sharpsburg, and Vida Opp, of Los Angeles.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wallis', 121 South Main Street, with the Rev. R. Bruce Smay, retired, former pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday."
